I saw them in the closet and thought, “Let me give them a try as casual pants with a t-shirt.”  BOOM.  Perfection.  They were never meant to be part of my “work wardrobe” – they were always supposed to be casual for me.  

Then, when she was 6, she started getting invited to swim and water outings – a friend’s birthday party, a Girl Scouts outing, etc. I knew I had to get over myself and purchase (and wear) a swimsuit. I had avoided it for years – I was no longer a slim size 2, and combining that with my dislike of water activities, I could literally think of almost anything else I would rather do.

I know what you’re going to say because I’ve said the same things myself. While there are endless reasons to talk yourself out of doing a boudoir session, I’m here to share some reasons why I personally found it to be worth it.

Because my life is busy, and we haven't been able to hit the salon, I was looking for options to learn how to style my kids’ hair.  Luckily, we had the opportunity to try out an online course called Barber Mom.

To me, the ultimate body-positive person is someone who can love themselves no matter what they are wearing, because if you truly love yourself, the size of your clothes or the number on the scale does not matter.

I have seen a new trend that is the opposite of tie-dying, and instead uses bleach to remove the color, so I thought bleach dyeing would be a fun project to try.
