Another favorite about the cool cat named Pete. He stars in his class play about the first Thanksgiving. This educational book doesn’t have quite the same cool vibe as some of the others in this series, but the lift-the-flaps make up for that. It’s a great book to teach little ones about the history behind our favorite turkey-eating holiday.

This fun Thanksgiving book takes the feast to a new level by telling the story from the eyes of the turkey. Repetition, fun illustrations, and a surprise twist ending will make this a kids' favorite Thanksgiving book.

Over The River: A Turkey’s Tale

This book follows the melody of a Christmas carol favorite. A family of turkeys heads out to grandma and grandpa’s house for a Thanksgiving day feast, only to be seen by the hunter and his dog. You really need to read this book through twice to see the whole story. Once sing the song and the second time tell the story of the pictures.

There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey

Another sing-along book from the Old Lady with the amazing gut. In this book, she swallows some amazingly random things, only to spit them all out into a fun Thanksgiving Day Parade Float.

10 Fat Turkeys

Gobble Gobble Wibble Wobble! This is a rhyming book that counts down some silly turkey’s escapades. From swinging on a vine to riding a boar, girls and boys alike will love each of the ten turkeys with their own unique personality. Repetition gets your kids reading along while big numbers help teach number recognition.

Run, Turkey, Run!

Similar to Turkey Trouble, Run, Turkey, Run! takes the view of the turkey trying to escape the farmer on Thanksgiving. It is a simple story that asks kids questions and gets them all yelling Run, Turkey, Run!
