Kid-Inclusive Places in WI

Parenting is basically one long exercise in multitasking, and being good at it (or at least faking it till you make it 😉). One thing about me: I love keeping track of places that make life easier for parents with young kids. Over time, I’ve built a running list in my “Kid Inclusive” notes app of spots that truly cater to families.
So what do I mean by kid‑inclusive? I have two boys under five, and they are busy bodies in every sense of the word. I get uncomfortable taking them places where I know they’ll want to move, explore, doodle, or burn off energy, and I’m left trying to keep them still with whatever I managed to shove into my bag. Sure, I can bring activities from home, but this list is about the places that go the extra mile for families in this season of life.
These are businesses that intentionally offer toys, coloring sheets, books, craft supplies, or even dedicated kid spaces where children can simply exist without a side‑eye from the next table. That earns them a 5‑star rating from me every time.
My goal is to grow this list to cover the entire state of Wisconsin. I want every parent with kids under 10 to know there are coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries where you can enjoy a meal or a latte while your kids have something engaging to do. (Yes, boredom has its place, but I also enjoy eating my food hot and sipping my iced latte while it’s still cold.)
My ask:
If you know of a restaurant, coffee shop, brewery, or any business that wasn’t specifically created for children but has added thoughtful amenities for children, please share them with us. You can email us at info@greenbayareamom.com or send us a DM on Facebook or Instagram. We’ll happily add them to the list, at no cost to the business.
